It makes me so mad, when something like this happens! All someone had to do was to the child that the bullies are the true losers. The first line of defense begins at home, and parents have to keep a watchful eye for any signs of trouble. Sadly, far too many parents believe that as long as their children are in school they are safe, not true. Nice kids are often targets of other kids who use bullying to mask their insecurities and fragile egos. So, with this said parents need to teach their kids not to fall for the lies and rubbish the bullies say!

Very sad and tragic. Parents should teach their kids how wrong, hurtful and fatal bullying can be! ty Frank

It makes me sick ti read how these no good rotten bullies can be so evil. I hope they rot in he*l for what they caused Kevin to do. Parents need to speak to their kids and ask them how things are and whether they understand that when there is a problem to let them know. I hope the school sent letter out about the situation bullying. My heart goes out to Keven's parents, family and friends.
Thanks Frank

Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year, according to the CDC. For every suicide among young people, there are at least 100 suicide attempts. Over 14 percent of high school students have considered suicide, and almost 7 percent have attempted it.

Bully victims are between 2 to 9 times more likely to consider suicide than non-victims, according to studies by Yale University

A study in Britain found that at least half of suicides among young people are related to bullying
10 to 14 year old girls may be at even higher risk for suicide, according to the study above

According to statistics reported by ABC News, nearly 30 percent of students are either bullies or victims of bullying, and 160,000 kids stay home from school every day because of fear of bullying
