Yup. It's also a given that she's against abortion for ANY reason. AND that she's against assistance of any kind for the females who are forced to have a child they neither want nor can take care of. I think today's GOP is an offshoot of the Flat Earth People.

Even for her deeply addled brain synapse this is utter stupidity. Hell, the VA needs more money to deal with the people who are home NOW. It will need even more money when and if everyone comes home. Any veteran, or relative of same, who voted for her just took a wet mackerel slap right in the face.

The GOP only says .... 'support the troops'...not their families/homes nor our Veterans, remember that. Of course support to them means a verbal.. 'good job..we're pray'n for ya'.. but no higher pay or services to help their families while they are off fighting wars nor for our Veterans returning from war It is time to stop all free or even partially free health care for politicans/elected..appointed,officials, on every level. Once that's done we might listen, a little , to what any of them would have to say about cuts in health benefits for our veterans.

Republican please keep Bachman out front. With comatose Boehner and Bachman in the news I hope the sleepwalkers who elected them will arise from thier couches and throw them out next cycle.

I think she needs to take a tour of every VA facility in the country, and talk to every veteran living on the streets and all of us who have had our benefits level frozen for the last couple of years and explain to us why she feels we have it so very good that we need our benefits cut. Then, she and all of Congress and all other officials can join us by voluntarily stopping all of their own benefits, their per diems, their 'head of the line' privileges at military medical facilities...we could probably balance the budget just cutting off their retirement packages.

Well said, Guys and Gals.

There are the forked tonged politicians who 'talk the talk'.
And then, there are the ones who actually 'walk the walk'.
These two classes of people live in different universes. There will never be any common ground to meet and join forces, because we hold entirely different standards of morals, ethics and Democracy.

What an unAmerican scumbag! She's shown her true colors. What happened to support our troops and never forget. I guess she forgot, along with the rest of her party.
