Done. Diplomacy must ALWAYS be tried to resolve disagreements. War is merely proof of poor Diplomatic skills, where both sides lose.

On December 13, 2013, I received an email from Deb Fischer stating, in part, "While I support diplomatic efforts to avoid military conflict, I disagree with the president's assertion that the time for ‘tough talk’ and strong sanctions has passed." I have every confidence that Ms. Fischer, like the rest of the Republican party, is deliberately trying to sabotage the President's achievement--big surprise, huh?

Yeah, I signed, for all the good it'll do.

Messages sent & shared. Noted. Many thanks for posting, Robert!
I've been sending messages nearly every day regarding this. We don't need another war. Those in Congress who are pushing this are in the pockets of corporate contractors. This is a congressional slap in the President's face. Now it's time to back it up with some phone calls.

Chuck schumor was a main sponsor of S 1881 and had the nerve to send me an email yesterday asking for support /signature of his farce petition-how does that match..ridiculous! But anyone else may feel free to sign his-I did not. But have signed tons of other petitions for that cause.
Tell Republicans: Come to the table and make sure to extend Unemployment Insurance benefits. Sign my petition today.

You may ALSO want to sign for the other petition against S1881 on my own post> ( Senator Reid: No to S 1881! (Iran Sanctions,"March to War") - SIGN PLEASE !!)

Ending the draft was a high mistake.
As has been the case since 1974, when the military draft ended, the lower and middle classes have been fighting our wars for the wealthy. It is disgraceful.

All of these legislators, who are 'war-mongers', should have their families volunteer at the head of the line. It's so easy for them to send other people's children to fight in the military, and then vote to take away the help they need, upon returning home.
The lack of concern for their welfare after their assumed loyalty, makes me nauseous.

Pay attention folks!
Why do you think the 1% is striving so diligently so keep the majority of us POOR?
If you are poor and can't get a job, what do you do, especially is you want an education?
