Texas is the top wind producer in the United States. But now, the oil and gas industry and a Koch Brothers-funded think tank are leading an attack on TexasâEUR(TM) renewable energy standard.

This is just the beginning if it isn't stopped here and now...the other 49 states will be under attack sooner rather than later. Seems like they're going after the GOPTP states first, where their support is strongest.

To attack renewable energy is just plain madness. We are at a dangerous tipping point. Scientists says that the only way to save the planet is to leave the existing oil IN THE GROUND.

Sadly, Robert, it is madness...driven by greed!
The Koch boys, and their ilk simply want MORE, enough is never enough; like Rocco in "Key Largo:"( "Yeah, more, that's what I want, more!") these guys are just gangsters!

A petition isn't going to influence Greg Abbott one iota. As long as the Koch-heads buy him and their other legislative grifters, alternative energy -in America- will struggle.
