A Monsanto-backed advocacy group is now going from state to state, fighting labels that declare dairy products free from bovine growth hormone. Monsanto is the only producer of rBST/rBGH, that increases milk production in cows, and fears financial losses.

I want labeling, period. We all know Monsanto is one of the worst chemical companies around.
I do want Labels saying "rBST-free" milk. According to Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility, rBST increases the risk of cancer by elevating levels of another hormone, IGF-1. High levels of IGF-1 can promote breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. Do you want cancer...

TY, Scott.

Noted. I only buy milk products which specifically say No BGH. As more people clamor for milk products without BGH more producers will label their products as being BGH free. Those companies who use BGH and don't label their products will be faced with the choice of lying and labeling their products as being BGH free just to sell them and being sued for fraud or stopping the use of BGH.
