There is a crisis of management at NYCACC, the municipal kill shelter system which intakes 44,000 homeless animals every year. One of the latest offenses was when a 94 yr. old lady's lost dog was quickly euthanized- only 3 hours after entering NYCACC.

Please sign and forward... NY's animals need ALL the help they can get.

News Video:

A 94-year-old great grandmother from Queens says an animal shelter in the city killed her dog of 13 years. So she called Fox 5's Arnold Diaz. He looked into what happened, and things got heated at the animal shelter when he tried to get answers about what the dog was put down.

The dog -- Angel -- somehow got out the house. Her owner's granddaughter filed a report with Animal Care and Control the same afternoon. But they never saw the dog alive again.
