(Beyond Pesticides, April 1, 2019) National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) meets next month in Seattle, Washington to debate issues concerning what goes into your organic food. Written comments are due April 4.

The format for messaging the NOSB requires copying and pasting comments into regulations.gov, so we apologize that this is not a “single click” action. Please add a personal message about why this is important to you at the top of your comments, if possible.
Thank you for your time. this is so important as it regulates even the foods that we call organic!!

Please note these comments do affect what you eat even if you only purchase organic. the lies we are living with.

The government allows poisons in organic food! it can be labeled this way because of certain exceptions to the common rule we all believe as organic! It doesn't mean in all cases unless you know your source!!!

Say that can of green beans suddenly has an organic added to the label. At least read what they lead you to believe what organic means in this highly revealing article and petition. take the time to fl it out if you care what you eat and want transparent labeling!!!

Thank you so far I do hope people are sending this in because it is a bit complicated to fill out it's different than most petitions. But it's one of the most important ones we do all day.

We live on organic food but if it's labeled organic that doesn't mean that it doesn't have poisons

I hope people understand that. This is what this is about many many decisions that go into your organic foods including sterilization of equipment with poisons and toxins and additions to your vegetables that you would not know of because the FDA hides behind that organic label that isn't necessarily true. Please take the time to do this I beg of you.

Besides buying organic, I grow my own, that way I know it's safe, no pesticides.
