Pointing out that the prospect of peace in Syria was moving closer before the attack, with ISIS and Al-Qaeda on the run, Paul said It looks like maybe somebody didnt like that so there had to be an episode who benefits? It doesnt make any sense fo

Seems reasonable... anything to promote more destruction. The like in some previous wars total destruction and devastation is used to reduce countries to total dependency and then move in eventually to rebuild with outside financing and control. Just the military of the economic strategy when the IMF and World Bank load up countries with debt so they have to default and negotiate for foreign assistance. Do you think Iraq had big debts after their war with Iran and then didn't negotiate but tried to take oil from Kuwait instead?

The drums of war are going again. We already, fairly recent, sent in an additional 300 troops to Syria. Then we have Trump wanting to increase an already bloated military budget. Now this....where have I seen this before?

Let us take care of what is in our own backyard, around the world there are horrendous things happening, but we seem to only go in places that have special interests. Let us not forget the so called weapons of mass destruction that still has in in that quagmire. Think of the cost, think of those who lost family who had served, think of those who are still suffering from their injuries, homeless Veterans, we can't take care of the broken as it is now. Think of the number of Iraq people and their children killed all based on lies to go into Iraq.

Agent Orange in Vietnam, those people are still suffering with let alone our soldiers and children born to them. Gulf of Tonkin a lie to go into that war. Look at the mess in Libya today? We help no one we make more messes and only those who profit by keeping wars want the wars. I'm not saying children might not have died, but what I'm saying we'll cause the death of far more children if we keep the war machine on full speed ahead.
