Justin Anderson, an Iraq War veteran living in Bellevue, was given an off-road wheelchair by the Independence Fund charity to help him get around after his leg was amputated. He decided to use the gift to help others in his community

Many disabled veterans are so amazing! They served their country fighting in wars. They come home injured to a country(USA) that *should be* taking excellent care of them. USA fails miserably in many instances, don't know about other countries. And here, despite everything continue to give freely of him/herself. True heroes!!

One of the many, many "good" people in our world, quietly contributing and usually going largely unnoticed ...

What a pity that the media make so much more of "negative news" about the relatively few, and so little of these "positive" cases ... As you say, Marcia: True heroes who see this as "normal"
