Thousands of Tibetan refugees living in exile, after having fleed the brutality of Chinese occupation, have begun a march to return to their homeland! The march continued despite Indian authorities forbidding the March. Indian authorities just ordered that the marchers be arrested and they have been detained.

Show your support for the protestors by sending letters to the Indian Ambassador to your country and also the Indian president. Emails are good but faxes and follow-up phone calls are the most effective!

In your letter, note that:
-You are upset that marchers have been arrested for peaceful free expression
-These marchers are not a threat; they are strictly nonviolent
-The march to Tibet has great international support and you hope India will support it, too.
