"Gloversville Police say 41-year-old Todd Ferrara was driving a 1995 Jeep Cherokee west on Fourth Ave. from Yale St. when the vehicle left the street and struck a telephone pole and two front porches.

The Jeep then veered to the other side of the street where Ferrara struck 15-year-old Jonathan Himpsl as Himpsl tried to jump out of the vehicle's path, police say.

The Jeep then dragged Himpsl into a home yard, where the vehicle finally came to rest against a fence. The tires continued to spin until the Jeep's ignition was turned off, say police."

Thank you Dee. The laws on DUI have to change and be enforced. So many injuries and deaths caused by people who are high, often driving on suspended liscences or after their 13th court appearance.
