"The decision to delist wolves had nothing to do with numbers and everything to do with politics. It is a farewell gift from the outgoing president to his staunch supporters in a part of the country where hating wolves is the code of the hills." Hmmm. Dick Cheney is from Wyoming. why do people only care for the canis lupus and not other wolves, wolf-type wolfs. like Canis simensis or Canis himalayensis . OH no, only the Canaidian wolves brought to the USA are worth protecting.
