Any parent that takes their kid out for a walk knows that children tire more quickly than adults, but why is that? Do kids and small adults walk differently from taller people or do they tire faster for some other reason?

duh!!...so we needed a scientific study to find out that short people tire more quickly than tall people when walking because short people have to take more steps, they call it being less "efficient"..i don't think i'm less efficient...i'm just shorter and take two steps for every one from a tall person...call that less efficient??...but for me...it's quite efficient! and for the record, any short person could have told you this bit of "news".... we've all known this for decades now...and i can't believe that anyone paid for such a study to find out what we already knew...next time...ask some people and save your money!!!
