New threats to wildlife and the environment as campaigners say it is much easier than ever before to buy and sell anything from live baby lions to polar bear pelts and rare plants on online auction sites and chatrooms.

It was only a matter of time before something like this occured. The problem is how to convice people that these animals have more value alive and free than dead or in captivity.

..or that other species cannot be "valued" at all. Humans need to get it through their heads that "possessing" other beings is NOT our "right." We simply impose this stupidity on other creatures against their will, this is slavery, and we'd better put our money where our collective mouths are on the issue of slavery.
