An anonymous donor purchased 11 acres in Indian Land and gave it to the Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, complete with a house and space to build whatever they need, including a barn, community garden and large ponds.

Please circulate their educational materials called "Postcard from your Duck" about abandoned "easter" novelty pets and why animals shouldn't be given at "toys", it's a heartbreaker:
