Clearly, what Eaaarth needs is more war games. And more and bigger toys for the militarists to play with (after all, they probably DO have a lot to compensate for)
" The military costs every human alive more than a pound of bread each day ! [my tansl.]"
" Das Militär kostet jeden noch lebenden Menschen täglich soviel wie ein halbes kg Brot. "
-- first brought to my attention by WERNER PIRCHNER's "ein halbes doppelalbum (1973)"; the relationship still holds.)

This is exactly what we should be doing to make sure that Russia knows we are not playing their game.

Sorry, but we must stop burying our heads in the sand. If we think that we can just sit back and "protect the Earth" then we place no value on human life. No one wants a war and no one wants a nuclear war, but that is not stopping the Iranians, Russians and North Koreans; but if they see that we mean what we say and we will not back down on this, we have a much better opportunity to stop this.

Watching the B52's fly is awesome.
I agree with you, Linda C.
