The core of all meditation is to quiet the mind not to slow down aging. Only when the human mind has been silenced can one establish a connection with the cosmic mind, astral mind and so on and so forth.

Meditation can help to UNDERSTAND the effects of aging, I doubt it can prevent or stop it. Every lifeform has a lifespan. The length of that lifespan is dependent upon the species in question, from the smallest to the largest.
