Hundreds of British firms operating abroad may be implicated in severe human rights abuses such as modern slavery, poverty-level wages, beatings, killings and environmental damage, an international NGO warns.

We have a phrase in England, "No shit, Sherlock"

Everyone who buys into the culture of "buy one, get one free" and wanting to bag a bargain, are effectively reinforcing slave labor in other countries and in fact ours. Zero working hours are another way of exploiting the workforce. . . outsourcing anything to another country is also exploiting a cheap workforce.
