The question uppermost in the prime minister's mind as he assembles his new government is how to keep the kingdom united.

David Cameron's election win was one of the most cynical and divisive known, he managed to spit in the face of the Scottish electorate who voted no for independence, with his mendacious and outright racist message he made his nasty, acid little speech about English Votes For English Laws. For a man with a Scottish surname he seems to hate the Scots with the typical spinlessness he has been known for many years. Still, what would expect from a man whose ancestor ran away in the Battle of the North Inch?

On my side of the pond we call it "gerrymandering."

Scotland is going to leave at some point. When? Who knows . . . .
