Though it looks like a nice resting place from afar, the mass graves, boxes stacked on top of each other seems disrespectful. Would the graves be better respected if the land is transferred to the department of parks and recreation?

This Island, in the harbor of NY should never be allowed access by the public. It should be used for the conservation of bees, bats, birds, plants, herbs and fruit bearing trees. Humans are destructive
