The cafe owners are refusing to accept the new £5 note on ethical grounds as it contains an animal by-product

Bank notes shouldn't be made with any animal parts. Awful. Good on those+that cafe 4 saying no. thx Ray

The sorry state about this, the new £5 is legal tender and really cannot be refused, it would really depend upon bothsides the Customer and Trader,
If all Brits refuse to use the new £5 note then the BOE must do something about it, for myself I do not like feel of the new note and now I know the make-up I dislike even more
