Noted. Thanks, Ray. This practise is not new. Woman have had to go special huts (places) during menstruation as many civilizations thought it to be unclean.

They need to step out of the dark ages & into the 21st century!!!
The war against women can be found EVERYWHERE!!!

Women need to be more supportive of other women, too. Notice it says that the mother-in-laws want the young women out of the house because they once had to. There are women in the US who claim to support women's rights, both state side and abroad, , but there are a number of examples where they do not.

One can, to a very small degree, understand. These women have difficulties with cleanliness when all they have are rags to use although that is still no excuse. That's what my grandmother had to use as a young woman and she never had to stay elsewhere. It's difficult to convince people to get rid of traditions such as this.

Better education is needed, however, we have to tread cautiously when interfering in other cultures. Some traditions we find appalling they may not. Personally, I would have enjoyed going off by myself once a month. ;-)
