Management at a Walmart-contracted warehouse in Indiana told workers to stay on the job even as the temperature plunged during the polar vortex deep freeze and the county government declared a state of emergency.

Indiana even closed most of the highways to anything other than emergency traffic during it because of how unsafe it was to be out in that weather.

The warehouse had torpedo gas heaters before Walmart. So guess they were too expensive??Don't you wonder what happened to them?! Took them out to make people suffer.
This is Typical of Walmart. People are usually fined for being out in this kind of weather but they just had to work.
Thank You Freya

Wednesday January 15, 2014, 5:46 am the only way to stop this and the consumers MUST support the Unions. If other employers can pay and treat their employees better and make a profit so too can Walmart. Besides the 6 heirs have more money than the Pharaoh's of Egypt could of dreamed of, holding more wealth than 42% of all Americans, how much more do these Greedy SOB's need. You better believe the Walmart CEO, stockholders, and heirs were all nestled nice and warm in their homes during this or living in some tropical retreat at the time.

Typical of WalMart. Big money gets bigger with employee abuses.
