Sanders should continue his fight to represent the interests of American workers. There's too much at stake.

I hope Sanders manages to win the nomination because the dems are counting on his popularity transferring to Clinton and I don't think that will be the case. Many Sanders followers I know have vowed to not vote at all or vote for Trump which is really scary. Sanders supporters DO NOT WANT the status quo and that is what Clinton represents. Too much controversy with her and many don't trust her. I think her greatest followers are the pro-choice people and even in that category there are many many former pro-choice people wanting stricter and shorter pregnancy times for abortions now that medical science is saving preemies as young as 21 weeks. They do feel pain and they are viable. This is not a fact they can ignore much longer.

I rather have Bernie in the white house than stoopid TRUMP who HATES EVERYONE & EVERYTHING & stands for NOTHING but HIMSELF! How in the WORLD can his daughters and wife stand him when he 'hates all women?' Thank you Freya.

The nomination is being stolen by the Clinton people...take a look at what happened in those states that have had voter frauds. They have given delegates to Clinton, not Bernie. The delegates will not be changed even if Bernie ends up having won those states. We are fighting against a closed political system. Outsiders that aren't billionaires, aka Trump, need not run. Thanx Freya.

But neither is Hillary winning......Just Follow The Math. This is the flip side that mainstream media doesn't want you to think about. They only want you to think Sanders is losing not that Hillary is too.....Go to the article at the link below.
JUST FOLLOW THE MATH

He will go the course. Who knows what may happen? The roar is getting louder in re overt corruption in the election processes. Also, from here on, independents are allowed to vote. Add to that the "math", as Dandelion says above. Whether he decides to press legal charges or not is beside the point--also--whether he becomes president or not is becoming less of a point. Most of his supporters had their dreams and passionate convictions reawaken by Bernie. They mean to carry on with the revolution, remove corruption in the systems, try to save what's left of Earth and all living.

If goodness, truth, integrity, love, beauty, peace, justice, does not appeal to you--then ask yourself, what does appeal, and why. The answer matters, as Earth and all living must live in the world your thought and action creates. If you don't wish to contribute to the goodness, the least you can do is not "take away".

Sanders is no Hero. His whole campaign is built on pointing out the symptom of Crony Capitalism which is inequality. Yet he never talks about addressing the causes of this inequality. He has no plans. Instead he relies on ignorance of economics to push this "Democratic Socialism" fantasy. Any form of Socialism always results in Misery for the people.

Bernie is still going at this so he can win! Are you the one not making the difference. GOTV -- go tell people to vote for Bernie! This is all over the internet -- in less mainstream news. Do you think that the people's vote cannot win? -- Look again -- it has at least ones in history! The Delegates do have a say -- and Bernie needs you to encourage others to vote! Check out my posted links -- please.

I have said this since they were talking about a contested convention on the RepukkklicanTs side. There WILL be a contested convention on the Democratic side. There are TOO many Independents that didn't get to VOTE in the primaries because of "closed primaries". If those primaries had been "open", Bernie would have swept them like he did the 6 or 8 that he swept BEFORE the New York State primary! And do to think of all the people that didn't get to vote in NY! They are gonna be P.O.'ed! There will be protests! '68 will seem like a cake walk compared to this year! On BOTH SIDES! Beware of the rallies around the conventions!!!

There is also one thing to remember, if you have not done so ALREADY, VOTE BLUE, NO MATTER WHO!!!

Eric Lees, I am going to disagree with your statement that "Any form of Socialism always results in Misery for the people." I am very happy to be living with my income from Social Security (a Socialist program). Also, between Medicare and Medicaid (also Socialist programs), much of my health care costs are covered. Without those Socialist programs, I'd probably be dead or living under a bridge.

Why do so many people equate Socialism with Communism or Fascism? Bernie Sanders is a Democratic Socialist. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was also a Democratic Socialist.

Noted. Thanks, Freya.

I agree with others' comments that Bernie is not finished by any means---there will be a contested convention. This is good for the Dem party. It has swerved so far to the right over the past decades that it is barely recognizable. Their BIG topic has become equal rights for women and Roe v. Wade, which have both been "highlighted" by the GOP attacking Planned Parenthood as often as they attack the ACA in Congress.
The Dem party has also allowed unending war, and the massive funding of unending war. Private corporate war contractors have contributed as greatly to Dem candidates as Wall Street has. And, there has been basically not even any discussion about the massive use of---as well as billions spent on--- killer drones, as well as the 'Kill List.'

I voted for Bernie and would surely vote for him again. What a pathetic and depressing election season this has been. I shudder to think of what the outcome will be. I won't be happy at the outcome I am pretty sure..

Either way, Bernie has influenced many people in the US to a new, more global way of thinking, plus because of his strength in numbers so far, has also influenced Hillary and the Democrats.......I hope to an even better path ahead. Thanks, Freya.

Bernie has not opened anyone's eyes Alexander. He has not educated anyone. All he does is point out the symptoms of our Crony Capitalist economy. Yet he fails to even understand the root causes as is "solutions" would actually double down on the failed policies that put us in this mess. A clear indicator of his ignorance is the FED which should be enemy #1 for anyone that wants to address the Cronyism that created the inequality.

Yes Donna some people benefit but overall all those programs you mention are a negative. SS is a Ponzi scheme that steals from the young (12.4% tax) to pay the old. At the very least you should be able to opt out and save for your own future without the losses due to government waste. All these programs will face deficits in the near future and will have to be adjusted or abolished.

“Prior to capitalism, the way people amassed great wealth was by looting, plundering and enslaving their fellow man. Capitalism made it possible to become wealthy by serving your fellow man.”― Walter E. Williams

Capitalism may, for some, have "... made it possible to become wealthy by serving your fellow man," but it has also allowed legal plunder by so many! The liberty to do as one pleases is much too often abused by those who have any leverage, helping no one but themselves!

Furthermore, Eric Lees, Capitalism destroys, both societies, the people within it, and the resources.

Only a few win, and that's ALWAYS at the expense of the majority.

But, please continue to believe your twisted version of how life operates.

How does Free Markets destroy Darren?
How is Liberty conditional, conditioned on what?

Free Markets, by definition, are unfettered, have no checks and balances, and are run, subject to the whim and fancy of the individuals playing them, like a game of roulette.

Liberty or freedom (or speech of movement) is conditional upon where you live, whether you have money, a job, and what you say (freedom of speech).

How many examples would you like, where the exercise of "Freedom of Speech" has resulted in Authoritarian witch-hunts and curtailment of those very liberties you think you believe in. . . ?

Eric Lees (6)

Darren, Free markets have natural built in checks and balances from the millions of individuals choosing where and how to spend their own money. Choosing how to price their labor, and keeping the fruits of their labor. History has shown that the more free a society is the more prosperous it is and the less inequality there is.

Feel free to post as many examples that you think prove your point as you like.

The Global Financial Crisis, and every other scandal that's occurred in the last 20 years.

Your sound reasoning misses one important factor. Free Markets are populated by flawed, deceitful, conniving, lying, flawed human beings.

Other than that, anything else to reinforce your argument that Free Markets work, which they obviously don't.
