Clean drinking water is a human right, and in the United States, people should not have to worry about whether their water is safe to drink. But our pipes are getting old - some are as old as Ford's first Model T car. And too many are still made of lead.

Petition only seems to accept valid U.S. zip codes, despite also accepting non-U.S Countries.

So, shared petition all over social media, Freya.

There was a Twitter comment awhile back - something to the effect of "I divide people into water drinkers & non-water drinkers". I'm not sure I have it exactly right, but it's a great comment.

If someone can supply me with a zip-code, I'll sign it, but my postcode isn't valid.

We need a FRANKLIN ROOSEVELT- TYPE NEW DEAL, we need MASSIVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING to put people to work at USEFUL jobs, NOT THE POLLUTING JOBS CONTROLLED BY THE WEALTHY.
We need to TAX THE HECK OUT OF THE WEALTHY, back to the standards of Roosevelt's time! and CUT THE SPENDING TO THE MILITARY. To PAY FOR this absolutely NECESSARY Infrastructure Repair.

We need to SPEND TAX MONEY FOR THE BASIC NEEDS OF EVERYONE, and NOT SUBSIDIZE THE ALREADY-WEALTHY with our tax money!
When the Wealthy cut benefits for Social Services, they are DIRECTLY STEALING FROM THE POOR, to BENEFIT THEMSELVES.
They TAKE THAT MONEY OUT OF THE POCKETS OF THE POOR, they might as well be stealing it at gunpoint! And they have IMPOVERISHED THE MIDDLE CLASS also, by doing so... and, by a clever trick of propaganda, they BLAME the poor - for the relatively SMALL amount of tax money expended on their measly benefits...
NO OTHER WEALTHY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, WOULD STAND FOR THE IMPOVERISHMENT OF ITS CITIZENS, THE WAY THE U.S. HAS SUCCUMBED TO THE WHOLESALE RAPING OF THE TINY MINORITY ELITE....

I meant, of course, THE WHOLESALE RAPING *BY* THE MINORITY ELITE....
