I can't believe this happened in Canada! Thought my home and native land was better than this. Apparently the disease of racism is running loose among constables in the Great White North.

As long as people remain in denial about their racism (however "mild"), the exclusion effect will continue - & the resentment of it will grow.

The deniers don't allow themselves to ask WHY this particular man was reported by an observer.

I've often sat in my car, reading. But, as I'm white, even those who might think it strange wouldn't become suspicious about my intentions ...

However - if black, suspicions would come more rapidly. Or, if looking Arab ... also.

Thanks, Freya
