Why Childbirth and Abortion Are Not Separate Issues

A government that allows employers to deny contraception and abortion coverage while exempting so-called pregnancy centers from providing accurate medical information is essentially trying to control and coerce most reproductive women.

"It’s because women’s health has been maligned and subjugated for a very long time and science and technology have done little to understand and competently care for female bodies."

Thank you Freya for posting

Incidentally all people are in effect infantilized in a belief in a omniscient projection of a father figure controlling, judging, and disciplining us with a aggressive cruelty. In some traditions it may be considered that McCain will be reborn in Iran or Iraq and perhaps be bombed before he get a chance to grow up at all. That consequences are not eliminated by belief but something require judgement and the free will to exercise it for good or ill otherwise we are just under robotic control of others fantasies.
In any case childbirth mortality is not the only aftereffect that can happen to lots of women in various medical, psychological, financial, family, stressful ways. Their lives should should be allowed freedom of choice regarding all sorts of viability issues for the general good of society as well.

When every HONEST poll shows the majority of Americans are in favor of safe, legal in blazes do these "Christians" get away with trying to cram their dogma into our lives?

We have almost lost 2 women of color from our church (Unitarian Universalist) recently. One after childbirth and the other after female surgery, the nature of which I don't know. I can't say I know what is causing this, if it's something new or if it's something that's been happening all along but hadn't been spoken of. All I know is that this is not right and something must be done.

As a white woman I did have complications after childbirth and ended up back in the hospital. I never felt that my life was in danger, though they never found the reason for all of the pain that I had been in. I guess all of the antibiotics they pumped into me solved the problem. But really, how could they not be able to find out?

If we had more women in congress, there is no way this racist misogynist would be confirmed.
