Thank you, Freya, for this posting. This is an issue that effects the safety of everyone.

I have signed the message and tweeted. I sent the message to Senators Flake and Kyl. I do not expect Senator Flake to do anything about it... he is a flake. Senator Kyl will do something. He was a very effective Senator before. I will call Senator Kyl's office.

I am also sending the message to potential senators Simena and McSally. I contibute to the campaign of potential senator Simena.

I am calling Kyrsten Simena office to alert her staff to a question I intend to ask a question at her next rally, September 18, Tuesday.

Most Americans know that the First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right of US citizens to petition the government (any level--federal, state, county) for redress of grievances, to make a complaint., or ask assistance of the government on any level without fear of punishment or reprisal. The late Care 2 member, Nyack Clancy, was very aware of this.

The first SCOTUS decision, West v Barnes (1791) assures that petitions will always be allowed .....and there will never be punishment or reprisal....and that this First Amendment protection will always be extended to U. S. Citizens, living anywhere in the world and persons living in the United States whether they are citizens or not, ONLY.
