I hope there is a happy ending to this and Edna finds a permanent home.I feel the station staff could have put up a better fight The threat of strike action would have been a good start.

Thanks, Freya. One person ruined Edna's life and caused stress and sadness to so many people for no good reason. I didn't think Edna would be forced to leave because of one unjustified complaint. I hope someone who knows her can give her a good home.

Thank you, Freya. Noted. May Edna find the perfect home. It would be great if Irene YBarra gets to be her forever human companion. The first responders need support critters in their lives. This is tragic for all concerned.

How mean-spirited! I have met or read of cats who make great hosts at bookstores, libraries, small hotels, etc. I hope Edna finds a wonderful permanent home.

I hope Edna finds a good forever home too. How can one evil person cause such a fit! I feel so sad for her and the firemen! A bond like this should not be broken❤️

I’m lost for words! Normally it is good for people in stressful professions to have an animal to come back to! Thanks Freya for sharing!
