Is that supposed to be cute or something? I fail to see what is good about an animal being held captive (probably after being kidnapped while seeing family members being also kidnapped and killed) and being forced to do stupid tricks for heartless people while being tortured!

Many Japanese very cruelly kill and eat whales and dolphins. Others apparently like to make money from holding Cetaceans in captivity and dressing them up like human figures, none of which I find acceptable. Are there any Japanese who actually like whales in the ocean, where they are happy, and where they belong? Whale watching makes millions of dollars annually around the world, and it is sustainable. I'll bet it meets the approval of the whales, also, just in case there are any Japanese who want to take that into consideration.

It is a shame these animals are exploited for so-called human entertainment.

I agree with Nelson B. We need to learn to respect these animals and not exploit them.
