Well duhhhh... I though everyone knew that. Sunflower oil, olive oil, macadamia nut oil, coconut oil and so forth, have no trans fats. The trans fat is what causes heart issues.

I use both extra Virgin Olive and extra virgin coconut oil. Omega's right Olive oil will burn but Coconut oil does not. Both are great for the skin hair as well as in ones stomach.

Olive and sunflower oil are not safe for frying, the article is unbelievably stupid. Eating foods fried in these oils might not cause heart disease, but it is definitely incredibly unhealthy, as these oils are not heat stable and when they are heated to a high temperature oxidise and release carcinogenic compounds. Coconut oil on the other hand is heat stable and can be used for gentle frying.

I despair about the so called scientific studies these days. Please think for yourselves.
