Neglected Horses Help Heal at-Risk Teens at Rescue Farm

Her rescue program for abused and neglected horses was separate from her therapy program for at-risk youth. But the teens tended to be drawn to the most troubled horses.

Great post. We all can learn from this program. When children, animals, people are abused, their healing requires acceptance, trust, and opportunity to love. Horses are amazingly sensitive wonderful beings that are too often maligned as stupid big animals that only respond to force. Thank you for a story that demomstrates the power of caring for others.
