With Croatia announcing it will allow oil drilling in the Adriatic sea, the 60-year-old German businessman is having second thoughts about his loyalty to this Mediterranean tourist haven known for glorious sunsets

Beatiful area. Haven't the oil companies made enough money yet and/or fucked up the environment enough? I guess not. They'll always be around to drill and spoil an area as long as there are politicians to be paid off.

Sad news. Thanks, Lone. The first time I ever got on a plane it was to go Croatia! That was over 25 years ago, and it was such a beautiful place!

This is bad news. “In case of an accident, this (tourist revenue) will be completely destroyed,” said Monica Frassoni, co-chair of the European Green Party, attending an environmental conference in Croatia’s capital, Zagreb. “So, why the risk?” I sure hope they do not take the risk! Thank You Lone.

We should ALWAYS choose Tourism over Oil. There are far too many GREEN fuel solutions to give into evil corporate billionaires & bought government officials.

Grazie per l'interessante articolo Lone, sembra che non ci sia speranza di avere la possibilità di godere ancora di questi posti. Si continua con i combustibili fossili non tenendo conto delle alternative.
