Activist groups in England and Wales have been fiercely fighting to keep a fox hunting ban in place that denies hunters the right to use a pack of dogs in order to flushâEUR"or forceâEUR"foxes out of their holes when trying to hunt them down.

Good. How they could do this horrid act upon these gorgeous beings is beyond me. So much for the rich and their "taste" and fine manner.....pooey.

*****BEFORE YOU GET EXCITED, PLEASE READ*****

I cannot find any article that says that anything has changed.

The vote was postponed in July, because the Conservative Government want to pass the law that the SNP will not be allowed to vote on English laws which do not affect Scotland, ensuring that their 56 votes to keep the ban can not be included and Labour do not have enough members to win the vote.

Of course Labour support the ban, they brought in the Act in 2004 and most of their MP's have always supported it, they will support anything that goes against what the Conservatives want, that is what politics is all about.

I don't know what info this petitioner has found, but it is not 'success', it is ONLY thanking the supporters and the Labour party for their efforts, IT HAS NOT AND WILL NOT STOP THE REPEAL.

Cameron has enough MP's in the Conservative party who want to repeal the ban, once the SNP are refused their vote, the repeal will sadly go ahead and there is little any of us can do about it.

Thank the idiots who voted for the Conservatives - and I mean that sarcastically.

Good news but then not so good according to Allison. I have to hope there will no hunting. It is amazing the ways humans think of to torture/kill animals. Intelligent species? Yeah, sure we are.
