The seized ivory at Heathrow Airport, which included raw elephant tusks along with carved bangles and beads, was discovered in baggage left abandoned at Terminal 4 in transit from Angola on its way to Hanover in Germany in October.

Noted. Thanks for the info, Lone.
It crushed my heart to see all those tusks in the picture. And, I wonder what will happen to it......

Imagine each pair of tusks attached to a fine, stately animal, and weep.

I read the article and I have to say that I do not for one moment believe their assertion that many ivory buyers are unaware of the effect their demand has on elephants or conservation. No one can plead ignorance in this day and age. They are criminals - plain and simple.

Your are right Ruth, all these poor animals that were slaughtered so senseless and cruelly - FOR WHAT!!! The greed for more and more money at the expense of these majestic animals. Unforgivable and beyond redemption - I pray that each and every bastard sub human that slaughtered these innocent animals burn in hell for eternity.
