As part of the Supermarket Recovery Program (SRP), more than 600 stores across the Province of Quebec will donate excess produce to foodbanks. Run by Food Banks of Quebec, the program aims to handle 14,000 tons of food per year and feed 400,000 people

This has always bothered me is how much food is denied people when it could be given to those less fortunate
