giving up plastic straws makes it easier for people to give up other types of plastic and to ultimately think about the impact plastic has on the environment, especially the oceans. - ALSO Take Action: Take Two Minutes To Help End Hunger

I bought us metal re-usable straws, hope they will last a lifetime at least....although we rarely need them...just say "no straws please"

Good information! The only straw I use is one that is built into the cup, and washable/reusable.

Scott Powell I have a friend with no arms and no legs who uses straws for everything. He was onboard with the No-Straw Campaign well before it started gaining such momentum. He used to say how he felt like he was single handedly contributing to the straws in the ocean and switched to a reusable metal straw. We also use paper straws. No plastic straws allowed in this house!
