I agree, Animae - pigs can't wait seven years! Gestation crates are cruel and unnecessary. The B.S. that farmers belch is these devices prevent the sow from accidentally squishing her piglets. However, if Mama Hog had enough room to move around, that would greatly reduce the danger. Besides, those piglets are born into a life of misery and suffering. Go vegetarian!
