A recent study published in Mayo Clinic Proceedings found nothing to contradict that. Exercise increases longevity much more than a sedentary lifestyle. However, how much of a boost does it give you?

Well i'll die quite young then because i have never played sports & never will!
But my cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength & lung capacity are that of someone half my age, because i still train with weights & cardio!

I think yoga should be included in this study! But there is no doubt exercise is good for your body and mind. I only do yoga, gyms are yiac

Yoga is great for strength & flexibility Melania but your cardiovascular system doesn't really get a workout.
The way to check if you're exercising your cardio system is if your breathing heavy, sweating & your pulse rate has elevated.

if you read the article, personal interaction is more of the cause than the actual sport. what it comes down to is keep moving and have friends.
