Bull, how about it affords the Paletinians a place to live. The Prime Minister 3 years ago made it illegal to refuse housing for anyone who could affor it.

Israel buids settlements and everything it can wherever it can get away with it- plain and simple.
why? it's about land conquest and setting up claims and precedence, all of itI never mattered, who lived there first, whether it was in the times of old, or since.
When the Hebrews came to Canaan, it was like striking gold - coastal/fishing/trade resources and fertile farmland.

I must not leave out the fact that people lived in Canaan before the Hebrew tribes invaded.
Just like the descendants of all those generations of Canaanites, Ishmael, etc..and the neighbouring regions that gradually comingled lived in this region, Palestine, and around it, before Jewish refugees and Zionist Jews arrived and their leaders pushed out and murdered the native Palestinians on their own soil, in the own homes, they were dispossessed of to make room for more Jewish expansionism and land theft.
