"For at least the fifth time, Trump’s Twitter account had shared a meme from the racist “alt-right” and offered no explanation why." He really doesn't believe he needs to answer that question...peace.

Good evening and thank you for this article - which i read and noted- this is nothing new with trump- he positively is giving off signals to the WHITE NAZI PARTY AND THE KKK- AND THE SKIN HEADS- that after he is elected everything will change and the illegal militias will rule the country instead of LOCAL POLICE- STATE POLICE - FBI- AND SECRET SERVICE- AND TSA-AND TERROR INVESTIGATORS- trump wants to take this country back to the civil war- with a 2 class system- not a 2 party system- HIM AS MASTER AND US AS SLAVES- fight him-do not let it happen- we are better than that- GO VOTE IN NOVEMBER FOR ANYONE BUT HIM---sincerely KAY M.

I wonder what Fred Trump (German immigrant) and Mary Anne MacLeod (born on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, and for years a domestic servant) think of their wee bairn?

He's making a play for Ted Cruz supports before the convention. He's going to need them.

Well it does look like casual racism does work in today's politics - still why waste a good meme even when it is racist does suggest that Mr Trump does not have an original thought in his head. I have been with quite a few well connected people to know that his anti-jewish ideas are not exactly uncommon. Yes I know his daughter is married to a Jewish man, but they do tend to make exceptions when it suits them. Trump is just a typical rich person who wants to run things ... it's just he got all his money through his Dad.

Here is a forcechange PETITION on this:

Barbara Tomlinson (431)
Tuesday July 5, 2016, 7:44 pm
Target: Trump Deputy Campaign Manager Michael Glassner
Goal: Denounce the use of Jewish imagery in ad calling Clinton corrupt with money behind her.

An attack ad calling Hillary Clinton corrupt and using a Star of David over a wall of money evoked anti-Semitic tropes about Jewish people controlling money and being greedy. This ad was put up on Donald Trump’s Twitter account and then taken down two hours later to be replaced by one without the Star of David, but the damage had already been done.

While one might think this could be an honest mistake if it’s taken as a single incident, this is not the first time that Trump’s campaign has been accused of anti-Semitism. In a recent speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition, he repeatedly remarked that he didn’t want their money, saying that this likely meant they wouldn’t support him. The idea that Jewish individuals and communities control others with money is an old and damaging stereotype that has historically led to horrific violence against these communities.

Not only that, but Donald Trump’s rhetoric has been linked to a rise in white supremacist and neo-Nazi activity online and off. These bigots have taken to targeting Jewish individuals online, particularly on Twitter, harassing then in droves and sending them violent threats. Both neo-Nazi and general white nationalist groups have declared their support for Donald Trump.

Even if this was a mistake, the Trump campaign needs to acknowledge that an image like that fuels the growing and alarming anti-Semitic fire in the U.S. Trump needs to apologize for this misstep and publicly denounce anti-Semitism and white nationalist hate. Sign our petition to demand that the Trump campaign takes a stand against violent bigotry.

Dear Mr. Glassner,

The recent attack ad posted on Donald Trump’s Twitter account was deeply disturbing. The fact that it claimed Clinton was corrupt while including a Star of David over a wall of money suggested old and dangerous anti-Semitic stereotypes about Jewish people controlling others with money and generally being greedy.

While it’s possible that this could have been an honest mistake, this is not the first time that Trump has been accused of anti-Semitism. It’s also alarming due to the fact that neo-Nazis and white nationalists have declared their support for the Trump campaign and have been conducting increasingly aggressive harassment campaigns against Jewish individuals on Twitter, especially targeting Jewish journalists that have covered Donald Trump or his campaign.

Your campaign has done very little to denounce or distance yourself from these hateful bigots. Even if it was a mistake, that attack ad will make anti-Semitic white nationalists feel validated and supported and is likely to fuel their hate. You must post a public apology for the imagery in the original ad and publicly condemn neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other anti-Semitic bigots.
