The International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes made the decision through a recent tribunal, about three years after the two U.S. companies had successfully argued their NAFTA challenge. . .NAFTA

This is corporate bullying. And if think this is bad, the TPP is like NAFTA on steroids and we will all start to see spoiled rotten corporations suing governments for "a hangnail".

Noted. Thanks, Lynn. Yes, we absolutely must contact our congressional representatives NOT to fast track the TPP and other trade bills. They must be debated in an open session (as opposed to a "closed-door session) of Congress for all to see. Then it must be drastically changed or voted down or there will be more of this happening. NAFTA was a giant job killer and enormous gift to multi-national corporations.

This cannot be repeated too often:
What we MUST DO from now on, is

LEAVE ALL FOSSIL FUELS IN THE GROUND.
80% of Fossil Fuel Reserves must be LEFT IN THE GROUND
if we are to avert Climate CATASTROPHE due to Global Warming.

NO MORE drilling, coal mining, fracking,
and transporting, leaking and spilling and exploding,
and BURNING and spewing into the Atmosphere.
NO MORE exploration for new sources!

This should be Environmentalists' MANTRA:
LEAVE FOSSIL FUELS IN THE GROUND.

THE CAPITALIST PRIVATE-PROFIT$$$ SYSTEM, AND THE ENVIRONMENT,
ARE INCOMPATIBLE WITH EACH OTHER.
