RR: Excellent read by Mr. Reich. Saved, and passed on.

C&L: Wouldn't that be great?? ;-)

Politico: Nothing this man says is ever good.

WP: I read about this lady a couple years ago, most women involved in the military for duties, embassy, CIA, or other services (WASP), never/or have received recognition for contributions to their country(ies), during/after the war. They are unsung heroes, imho. I do hope that her memory is not faded, and that the Army steps up to ''award it to her posthumously.”

My Universe: Sweet pictures, and kindness to animals goes a long way. I have a cat shelter in my back yard for the feral cats that pass through...I think it helps.

Sounds like you had a wonderful luncheon w/your friends. I had a busy day too. I liked it so much, I'm going back for more today. LOL. Enjoy your day, take care, and Thanks, Lynn.

Robert Reich - Yes, he is right, those things happened. But we are talking about ex-democrats who are dumb enough to believe that the Republican Party would ever do anything for them that the Democrats wouldn't. Most of whom are STILL dumb enough to stay with the Republican Party. I think they would have gone whatever we did or didn't do.

Crooks and Liars - What a nice dream.

Politico - Consider the source here. Uranus Inspector is a man who can read a pre-school children's book - out loud - and interpret in a way diametrically opposed to its real meaning. Of course he wouldn't grasp a speech from someone as bright as Kennedy.

WaPo/DB - You bet it's because she was a woman. But probably any out-group would have fared no better. I'm thinking of, for instance, the real-life Alan Turing. And while many if not most of us know about and celebrate the Navajo Code Talkers NOW, how long did that take?

HuffPo - How nice. I hope he isn't getting a lot of flak for it.

Universe - Cute.

If you feel better, you look better, it's true, Lynn. It doesn't really matter if you have lost weight, you carry yourself as if you have because you feel lighter. Keep that feeling close to you.

Robert Reich: He says it all in a few short, eloquent sentences: "What happens when you combine freer trade, shrinking unions, Wall Street bailouts, growing corporate market power, and the abandonment of campaign finance reform?
You shift political and economic power to the wealthy, and you shaft the working class." And that is what Democrats have either created themselves or stood by and let happen. Should Bernie Sanders ever make it to next president, he'll be in need of backing by a new party. Not by Democrats, because there's too little difference between the two parties to enable the fundamental change Bernie envisions, but by something like Green Socialists.

Crooks and Liars: So true, America would be in so much safer hands if SCOTUS would consists of 5 more clones of Ruth Bader Ginsburg with the other Democratic justices thrown in for good measure. Too bad Bader Ginsburg probably is the first to retire, making the situation only worse if she's not replaced by a clone.

Politico: What the Frack, there really is no limit to Creepy Cruz's audacity and willingness to rewrite history to make himself look good. First the GOP has turned Reagan into a Republican Saint, now Cruz is even trying to drag JFK into the Republican camp by uncensored use of Cut and Paste. Hasn't he scraped through the bottom yet?

Huff Post: Just so adorable and so unusual, in a Mosque. Let's hope the imam wants to share the minbar with this young feline family ;-)

My Universe: A watchcat, now those you don't see too often.

Compare Reich's insights with Cruz's (lack of). Ted is such a waste of oxygen.
The Notorious RBG is a national treasure. I keep fantasizing about Clarence Scalitoberts having a coronary or 4, before June (my husband says I've been chuckling in my sleep when I have these dreams.)
