Imagine you are pinned beneath your car. You can barely move. You are understandably scared. You yell for help. Someone calls 911 and firefighters and paramedics come to your rescue. But wait a minute, this is really funny, only your legs are sticking out

Please check out the video on ParentDish, it's not the one pictured here. And it's not as bad as the one pictured here. At least I don't think it is. What's your opinion? What do you think?

Ahh..I got it..
I will admit I have a strange sort of sense of humor..however..not strange enough to laugh at anyone's pain..or fears..child or adult..

Thanks Barb

Hmm, Interesting. I never ever laugh at anyone that is in pain & suffering, cause I'm in Pain & suffer everyday to where most days I cry & it would really hurt if someone laughed at me. It's hard to understand ones Pain & suffering & that hurts too. A lot of people don't understand what I & other suffers endure daily or a one time basis. I think i went way off topic, sorry Barb. Thanks

Hi Barb, I saw the video and I thought it was really dumb to be videoing this instead of getting the child out first and then finding out how that happened. The father asking the child how Do we get you out, was dumb because the child thinking his parents didn't know what to do scared himworse than being stuck.

This video is hilarious!

Did anyone notice that, as soon as the boy started to become afraid, his dad came to his rescue? They didn't just stand back and laugh while he cried. He didn't even cry. He just showed he was afraid, and he got help.

The whole time he was back there, he was interested on his toys, and the moment he came out, he was laughing and focussed on his toys. Do you REALLY think he will be traumatized by the showing of this video?

C'mon friends, this is no different than what has happened for thousands of years, when the families and friends relayed the funny things their kids did for ever and ever.

This is just caught on video, so it's easier to relay the funny stuff.

Have ANY of you seen a tragic result on a "Worlds Dumbest anything?" These shows don't show tragedies. They show funny stuff.

This kid has amazing speech and concentration to relay his thoughts. If THAT is all they showed, I would have been impressed. But this kid knows he's in a household that laughs.

However, if anyone can direct me to a study that proves that, more often than not, the children in these videos grow up to be traumatized and scarred for life BECAUSE millions of people watched them on the internet, I'm willing to reconsider my position.
