Having 9 tigers here at the compound at the Australia Zoo means we have a lot of different individuals. As they get older their behaviours change and we're seeing different personalities devleop with each cat.

Thanks Barb, Steve was a true hero. I am so glad Capt. Paul named the Sea Shepard ship after Steve. Capt. Paul is a hero as well.

I am glad that these tigers are well cared for, unlike in other zoos around the world. It would be wonderful if animals could exist entirely in their natural habitats, but human beings have made this impossible for some.
There is a zoo on the two top floors of a department store in Thailand. It's disgusting.

Noted and tweeted. How wonderful. Nine new little lives. And each one can go on to have more! How sweet! I didn't know they had such a range of personality LOL. They sound like good companions but I want them left in the wild. Thank you Barb!

Great story. Thanks Barb. Like everyone here, I too miss Steve. He did so much ti educate us about animals and he personally cared for them and tried his best to preserve them. Love all the big cats and hope that they do not become extinct because of poaching, loss of habitat, etc.

Thanks so much for placing these magnificent Big Cats in cages and depriving them of freedom :( I am with PETA which is against zoos...with zoos, there is no ethical treatment of animals!

Like most of you I'm basically against animals in zoos but maybe that is the only way that future generations will be able to know these lovely creatures.
