RENO, Nev. -- Barbara Bagley says she never gave up hope that her dog would be found alive in the Nevada desert after the animal bolted from the scene of a crash that critically injured her and killed her husband.

Oh My Gosh!! What a tearful story!! I am so happy they found the dog! He looks like a beautiful dog and am so glad they found that bone and pulled it out!! Yikes!! Thanks Barb!! Great happy ending to it!

OMG I can only echo everyone else's comments. I cried too.

AND ALSO: Did you click on that story (attached to the article) about the hiker missing for almost a month in the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico...? They just found her, and she was in her sleeping bag, almost dead. And get this: Her cat was with her!! The cat stayed with her throughout the whole ordeal (she must've been totally lost) and never left her side. Even as they were carrying her down the mountain on a litter, the cat was there with her on the litter the whole way down. WOW.
