Owner Yvonne Steel says that even if she were aware of the law she had broken, she wouldn't know how to abide by it since her cat is disabled.

Why on earth will this cat need a leash? Hes not going any far, he cant climbe a tree, so whats the risk of having him taking his much needed walks without a leash!? Sometimes the laws in the USA seems redicolous! I live in Sweden .The video of that sweet cat having his own wheelchair, looking so happy, having such a loving and caring "mum" made me feel so warm inside!

The law is the law but since the cat is disabled they could have given her a warning.

It never ceases to amaze me the things that law enforcement officials pick out to focus on!! Instead of focusing on the things that need to be, they ticket this lady for the most nonsensical reason I have ever heard of. The officials need more training, more compassion, and a brain would help quite a bit. This is totally ridiculous, and I hope Ms Steele fights this and wins.

Oh good grief. Another nanny enforcer heard from. What's the matter officer; didn't you make your quota that day? Whatever happened to the spirit of the law?

Some bureaucrats cannot ever see to it that exceptions can ever be made. The law is the law is the law and common sense can never play into it.

Obviously this cat has every intention in chasing people in the park, 'hunt them down' and demand coinage in a desperate attempt to pay for his nefarious catnip addiction. Such a 'threat' to society, only wishing to unleash his need for exercise.
