Halloween is near, yet these cats fear no ghost. Or are they just being cats? What do you think?

I never even considered the possibility that my first cat, Cali, (short for California) was seeing a ghost. She'd stare up at a corner in our first apt. and jump up, as if trying to catch something. She once climbed up the wall and fell, kerplunk on our bed....

Interesting. After my pets have passed away I would hear them walking for the longest time.
Thank you Barb

Yes, animals do see things we don't.

An interesting article....I do think animals have heightened senses...who knows what they can see.

After being separated from my cats, long story, I would feel them on my was a heavy weight up against the curve in my legs. Also, my Kirby cat used to sit on top of the battery box on the back of my wheelchair and we'd go for rides across the apt. complex. For the longest time after I moved here, I'd feel Kirby hop up on my battery box and I'd say: 'OK Kirby, here we go....' but things changed after I had to give up my chair: they stopped making them with the chain that goes around the tires; I forget what it's called; but electric wheelchairs are more compact; everything is in one unit. Oh, I sure do miss those Kirby days!!

I believe that cats can see what is invisable to humans, whether it is a human or perhaps another cat. They will sit and stare at something that we cannot see or hear.

i'm sure my Stevie can see things i can't, i've observed him, he'll perch himself as high as he can & he'll gaze at the ceiling for a long time, his eyes move left & right, he definitely looks like he's watching something.
