Thank you very much for posting this Barb. I played this while taking care of my twin grandson's both autistic and non-verbal and couldn't stop crying. At the end of this video they ask you to call your favorite radio station and ask for it. Ask by title and artist Cathy Hutch and BJ McKelvie because there is another song with the same title but not the same song by Sia furler. All royalties from playing it goes to finding a cure.

Thank you Barb.
Barbara cried because we "'see" the song each day we are with our grandson's. The hope is for this to go world wide. This song started in Canada and the site is in Turkey. So it is moving but needs help.

As one who is autistic, I can definitely identify with that song. I am so sick and tired of people calling it a "disorder." It is NOT a disorder or a syndrome - it is a DIFFERENCE. A difference in perception, in interacting with others and the world. I did not overcome autism, nor have i ever battled it - I made my condition work for me. And I am a successful, contributing, active citizen.

Autism is something I'm familiar with having a relative close to me with it. I truly believe that we have too many toxins in our environment. As toxins rise so too has autism. If you don't buy the toxins they won't sell them. So many household products can be made with ingredients one can eat. Shop at Farmers Markets, organic and encourage the small farmers at Farmers Markets to go organic.

My girlfriend teaches autistic children music, it seems that music is really the way to cause their minds to change and to become more focused. She really managed to achieve wonderful things with them.

As one with Asperger's syndrome and having raised several children with different autistic issues, this totally struck a cord with me. The good news is that if you will work with your loved ones, often they can become and accomplish FAR more than the outside world thinks they will ever be capable of. Autism is just another way of saying unique, and aren't we all?

Noted. Thank you Rhonda for forwarding this to me and to Barb for posting it originally. My brother has Asperger's syndrome and when I was a Special Education teacher I worked with Autistic children. This is a very moving song and I hope it will help to gain more awareness to Autism and to help raise money for the cause.
