We've all heard the saying " your killing your pet with kindness " making it so important to give your loved one a good balanced diet so get get the most from your extra member of the family. So glad to hear it's slimed down to a regular weight. Bless.

My Aunt has a cat that heavy and I felt so badly for the cat. Her husband use to overfeed it, the ole' feeding it all it wanted as he loved the cat so much. After her husband died the cat lost some of the weight but not as much as it should, but it didn't have the fancy treadmill to work out on.

Wow, quite an achievement. I've never understood why anyone thinks over-feeding your animals is a good idea. There are charts all vets can give you to show you what they should look like, and if you want them to live the longest lives possible, it's important to keep them at a 3.

Thank God someone adopted Skinny he was headed for an early death. Is this a form of animal abuse or ignorance? Thanks, Barb.
